Proud to have my supercell storm photo selected into WMO calendar for 2018!
We are pleased to announce the winners of our 2018 WMO Calendar Photo Competition! A big CONGRATULATIONS to our photographers and a special THANK YOU to everyone who submitted and participated in the contest, as well as YOU, our friends, for helping our judging panel—made up of meteorological experts and professional photographers—pick 14 photos for the printed calendar. With over 450 amazing submissions from around the world, the decision was not easy. Our judging panel had to consider several factors including technical quality, geographical balance and relevance to the theme, ‘Weather-ready, climate smart.’ Thanks again to everyone who participated! We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we do! ... See more
